
Ray Merrigan BEng(Hons), MIEI
Ray is a qualified Engineer and founding Partner of T5 Partnership Ltd. with overall responsibility for the management of the practice.
Ray graduated from Glasgow Caledonian University with an honours degree in Building Services Engineering in 2006 having previously completed both the technician diploma course in 1996 and technician certificate course in 1993 in DIT Bolton Street.
During university Ray gained invaluable experience on large commercial projects with MacArdle McSweeny Assoc. including St. Stephens Green Shopping, TG4 television studios, University College Cork and also spent 2 years on site in Barcelona working on various projects associated with the 1992 Olympic games.
Ray joined J V Tierney & Co. in 1996 as a senior mechanical engineer designing and project managing such projects as Hertz European Call Centre, Microsoft European HQ, St. Vincent’s Hospital, Cork University Hospital and St. Lukes Hospital.Ray has been responsible for many of T5 Partnership projects, such as the sample retain area and CUB warehouse in the Wyeth Bio-pharma campus Grange Castle, Gateway & Shrewsbury Square Apartment Developments and Mountmellick Library & Arts Centre.
Ray is also a SEI qualified building energy rating assessor for domestic buildings and also holds a City and Guilds Certificate in electrical engineering and electrical installations.
Colin Campbell BSc Eng(Hons), CEng MIEI
Colin is a Chartered Engineer who graduated from DIT Bolton Street with an honours degree in Building Services Engineering in 1998 having previously completed both the technician diploma course in 1996 and technician certificate course in 1994.
On graduation, Colin was employed by J V Tierney and Co. in Dublin. During this time he was involved in the design of such major projects as the Croke Park Stadium, NUI Galway and Microsoft HQ in Sandyford Industrial Estate.
Colin was a founding partner of T5 Partnership in 2001 with responsibility for the retail and hotel sector of the business and also specialises in the sustainable engineering aspects of the practice. Completed projects include, Trim Castle Hotel, Dunnes Stores Citywest, Dunnes Stores Newtownmountkennedy, The Vaults, IFSC and JCDecaux, Naas Road.
Colin is also a SEI qualified building energy rating assessor for non-domestic buildings.
Stephen Kelly BEng(Hons), MIEI
Stephen is a qualified Engineer graduating from Glasgow Caledonian University with an honours degree in Building Services Engineering in 2006 having previously completed both the technician diploma course in 1993 and technician certificate course in 1992 in DIT Bolton Street.
On graduation, Stephen was employed by Energy Action Ltd with responsibility for on-site co-ordination of energy saving measures to the domestic sector. After this he was then employed by EDP with responsibility for the commercial sector with such projects completed as Creative Labs, Dublin Port Ferry Terminal & Irish Ferries HQ. He was then employed by J.V. Tierney & Co. and was responsible for such projects as Gaiety Cinema in Sligo, Spaights mixed use development in Limerick & Roches Stores in Dublin.
Stephen was a founding partner of T5 Partnership in 2001 with responsibility for the commercial & religious sector of the business. Completed projects include, FBD support centre, Dundrum Credit Union, Laois County Council offices, Emmaus Retreat Centre for the Christian Brothers Provincialate, Thornville & Park House community accommodation for the Religious Sisters of Charity.
Stephen is also a SEI qualified building energy rating assessor for domestic buildings and also holds a City and Guilds Certificate in energy awareness.
